Research shows that of the tens of thousands of thoughts we have each day, about 95 percent are thoughts we’ve had before and about 75 percent are negative. In this episode of the Woman Worriers podcast, host Elizabeth Cush, LCPC, of Progression Counseling in Annapolis, Md., interviews Vidyamala Burch, an award-winning author, mindfulness teacher and co-founder of Breathworks, an international organization that brings mindfulness and compassion to people suffering from pain, illness and stress.
